South Central Regional Cultural Center Nagpur has organized at the premises of the popular morning music gathering ‘Brahmanad’ at 6:30 am on Sunday, at center premises.
In this event, Dr Sanika Roiaker of Nagpur, Rasika Kulkarni-Karmalekar, Vandana Deodhar and Amrita Soni mersmerised the audience with their classical and sub-classical singing.
The program was inaugurated by VNIT Chairman Rishi Jhamdar, Chandrakant Bharat of Sanskar Bharti, SCZCC Director Dr. Deepak Khirwadkar, Deputy Director, Mohan Parakhi. They lighted the auspicious lamp to begin the musical programme.
On the occasion, Program Officer Deepak Kulkarni, Gopal Betwar, Prem Kumar Tiwari, Shashank Dande were also present. The event was compared by Neeta Paranjape.
At the four singers began the show with Ahir Bhairav’s “Da Manu Maa Daroo Asami Prabhu Saa Saani”. Sanika Roiaker left the audience spellbound with her soothing voice.
Dr Sanika Roiaker is a classical singer and is an expert of theatrical music. She has received the primary education of music from Appa Indurkar. She also won a gold medal in the music from Nagpur University.
Rasika Kulkarni-Karmalekar has received her primary education of music from her father, Dr. Ram Kulkarni. Rasika Kulkarni – Karamalekar comes from the music family. She has received many awards at school, college and all-India level.
This program is dedicated to a well-known singer and musician of city, late Appa Indurkar and also to promote local artists.
