The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of Paper-2 of Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) on Wednesday. Aspirants from Nagpur had to face disappointment as they could not achieve success as expected.
According to the information received till filing of this news, 570 students from Nagpur city appeared in the exam for admission to the architect course. Of these, only 22 emerged successful. None of these students could get All India Rank within 100, while only two students were able to make it in top 200. Apart from this, the ranking of other successful students is more than 500.
However, students who did not perform well in January exams, have improved their performance in the examination taken in April.
It is worth mentioning here that the second test of JEE Main’s examination was conducted in April by NTA. In this, more than 27000 students from Nagpur division appeared. More than 12000 students took the exam in Nagpur district while 570 of the total students also gave Paper-II.
