The Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) felicitated the unsung heroes of orange city who are selflessly working for a social cause and helping the needy ones. The award function was organized in Nagpur on May 17 at Chitnavis Center.
President Rajiv Behal informed that every month on third Friday we keep the award session to felicitate these unsung heroes with an aim to boost their spirits for their contribution towards the society.
The Youth Icon Award was given to an organization Deepsthamb Dharmadayer Sanstha who works in educating children coming from financially weaker section of the society.
Behal also informed that RCNV have started an initiative called ‘Smiling Face’ in which members of the club will be supporting kids in their studies and will take the responsibility of educating students by paying their school fess.
He further said that the aim of conducting the youth icon award is to give respect, support and recognition to them as they are working for the betterment of society.
On this occasion guest speaker Dr Sumiit Messhram spoke about numerology and how one can get the benefit in their life with the help of numbers.
Children who scored good marks in 2019 board examination were also felicitated by the members of RCNV during the award function.
