The secretary of Nagpur District Fencing Association Mohammad Shoaib was elected as the joint secretary of Maharashtra State Fencing Association during the annual general body meeting and the election of the association held at Aurangabad.
Other office-bearers who were elected unanimously are Ashok Dudhare (president), Sheshnarayan Londhe (vice-president), Dr Uday Dongre(secretary) and Rajkumar Somwanshi (treasurer).
Secretary of Indian Fencing Association Bashir Ahmad Khan, president of Nagpur District Fencing Association Ajay Sontakke, treasurer Suresh Hazare, Vishal Datarkar, Sudhir Kahate, Sarika Chawre, Linatai Kadav along with fencers Parikshit Gohia, Nandkunal Dhanvijay, Rahul Mandavkar, Ankit Gajbhiye, Akash Thakre, Abhilash Barapatre, Nikhil Motghare, Nadim Malik, Yogesh Ban, Damini Rambhad, Ashwini Tembhurne and others have congratulated him for his selection.
