Suspecting her wife’s character a 35-year-old man raped her 34-year-old wife between April 2018 and May 2019 under the jurisdiction of Mankapur police station.
According to police sources, accused has two wives, with complainant being second. Thus the duo used to maintain distance. However, this lead accused getting suspicious of survivor’s character.
As a result the duo often used to get into arguments with the victim. Between April 2018 and May this year, the accused allegedly sexually exploited her without her consent, the 34-year-old victim said to the police.
Cops have booked accused under section 498 (A), 376 of the IPC.
Social media friend rapes minor girl on pretext of marriage in Mankapur
Mankapur police have booked a 22-year-old man for allegedly raping a minor girl for the period of over 8 months by promising to marry her.
The accused is identified as Akash Gajanan Tale (17), a resident of Manavsena Nagar.
As per the sources, the accused and the 17-year-old victim met on Facebook back in September 2018. Following the rounds of conversation the Social media friendship soon turned into a love affair.
Taking advantage of the growing friendship, the accused started sexually exploiting her. He also promised her to marry to get the girl’s consent.
However after few months of relationship the accused started avoiding her. When the victim questioned her about his changing behavior he reportedly abused her. Sensing something suspicious the survivor subsequently approached Mankapur police station and lodged a complaint against him. Following the complaint police arrested the accused.
Youth robbed of Rs 52K in PNB bank
A 22-year-old youth was relieved of Rs 52,000 when he was standing in queue to deposit money in Punjab National Bank, Medical Square on Friday.
According to police sources, Shubham Lalit Dhomne, resident of Hanuman Nagar had gone to the bank to deposit cash on Friday afternoon. While he was standing in queue to deposit money, a pickpocketer distracted his attention and stole cash of Rs 52,000 from his pocket.
Imambada police have registered an offense against the robber under section 379 of IPC.
