Power supply in Rakhunde Nagar was restored by “Power on Wheels”

Power supply in Rakhunde Nagar was restored by MSEDCL on Monday morning, at 2.30 am, with the help of “Power on Wheels”.

According to the information provided by MSEDCL, power supply of around 400 power consumers was snapped due to technical difficulties.

The electricity supply of the customers was broken till Monday morning.  Power consumers, of Rakhunde Nagar gets power supply from Kharbi power sub centre but some technical faults the power was shut for 4 hours approximately.

Residents of Rakhunde Nagar informed the Divisional Officer, MSEDCL, Hudkeshwar regarding the transformer failure in the area. It was almost impossible to adjust the power supply at night due to the failure of transformer.

But in the Congress Nagar region, MSEDCL has a facility of “Power on Wheel” to start power supply at any time. It has a 220 kilowatts capacity. “Power on Wheel” helped the officials to bring back the power in Rakhunde Nagar.

The residents thanked the officials of MSEDCL for bringing back the power supply.
