Kalyana Rama informed that “Nagpur has risen as a major cargo hub of Central India and our MIHAN, MMLP is going to be a game changing infrastructure for logistics scenario of the regionâ€. Presently, CONCOR is operating 83 terminals (MMLPs, ICDs, CFSs, PSCTs, PFTs etc.) in the country handling Exim and Domestic traffic which soon will reach a landmark figure of 100 terminals across the country.
Being the largest multimodal logistics company of the country, CONCOR, has entered new areas like Distribution Logistics Centers by inaugurating its first center at Ennore, Chennai, Tamil Nadu in March 2019. The company also plans a Rs. 1,000 crore capital expenditure during the financial year 2019-20. CONCOR not only provides inland transportation by rail for containers, but has also expanded to cover management of ports, air cargo complexes and establishing cold-chain. CONCOR not only plans to start its coastal shipping services to Bangladesh soon but, also serve the increasing domestic demand for cargo movement using coastal routes in addition to its rail services.
