Flower Decoration Training Workshop organised by South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) and Nagpur Garden Club, started from Saturday at SCZCC premises. The workshop will be from 11 am to 1.30 pm. It will end on June 2.
SCZCC Director, Dr Deepak Khirwadkar, Deputy Director, Mohan Parkhi, President of Nagpur Garden Club, Sharad Paliwal, Secretary, Lata Andhare lit the traditional lamp. Programme officers Gopal Betawar, Shashank Dande, Deepak Patil, Shtikant Desai graced the occasion.
Experts including Babu Mandal (Mumbai), Prabirkumar Pramanik (Mumbai), Nishant Dhage (Nagpur), Ratan Mohankar (Nagpur), Swati Gokhale (Nagpur), Kalpana Karmarkar (Nagpur), Shweta Wandhare (Nagpur) and Nitin Fating (Nagpur) will be training the participants during the two day workshop.
Dr Khirwadkar said, the main objective behind organising the workshop is to make common citizens aware about floral art. The workshop is a beneficial platform for people selling flowers on roadsides, those who want to develop business in floral decoration, preparation of bouquets, decoration of pandals, car decorations, and decorations during events like marriages, festivals etc.
