Indigo airlines have stopped the operation of Hyderabad- Nagpur flight which used to depart from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport at 9.30 am, for 1 month. This flight was operated with a small ATR aircraft of 72 seater capacity.
Instead, Indigo Airlines Flight has started an evening flight which depart at 6:40 pm from Nagpur. Its number 6 E7104 (which was also the same as the ATR flight). Airbus 320 aircraft is being used for this flight.
The passenger capacity of this aircraft is 180. ATR aircraft was receiving good response from the passengers. Despite it, the Indigo airlines have started flying in the evening with a bigger aircraft.
Sources said IndiGo has received several complaints about ATR aircraft. Apart from this, its passengers were also growing and it needed a bigger aircraft. TruJet flight between Nagpur and Hyderabad has started from June 1. In view of this, Indigo has already tried to dismantle its opponent by using a bigger aircraft.
Trujet will now have flights from Nagpur to Hyderabad and Ahmedabad from 1st July.
Meanwhile, due Technical failure in the aircraft on Monday afternoon, IndiGo’s Flight 6E 134 was stuck in Nagpur for 5 hours. Travelers suffered from problems due to their system failure.
