State government gave an approval of 50 crore as a development project fund for Tajjudin Baba Dargah’s premises which is situated near Tajbagh.
The information was given by State’s finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar while he was addressing a review meeting of Tajbagh project. In the meeting, Senior Chief Secretary Debasheesh Chakravarti along with other senior officers was prominently present.
Mungantiwar said that for the development and beautification of ‘Bada Tajbagh’, 132.49 crore fund has been already approved. Out of this total fund, 82.83 crore has been processed and the work using 67.58 crore amount is done. Remaining is 17.71 crore and 50 crore was required further to complete the entire project. On Thursday, Mungantiwar approved the funds of 50 crore amount.
While elaborating on the major construction under the project, Mungantiwar siad that roads will be construction after making a boundary wall around the premises of Tajbagh. Shops will be transformed into shopping complex, he added.
