The Maha Metro Rail corporation are taking appropriate measures to avoid unnecessary disturbance to the residents and to the shops in the city due to the ongoing Metro work.
The Metro authorities had installed barricades surrounding the metro digging work, to avoid congestion of traffic and any harm to the passerby. Now the barricades has been removed from several places as the project has been completed in those areas including Central Avenue (Reach 4).
Under the Citizen Connectivity Program, many Metro Officials on Saturday morning visited the Gandibagh park situated near Central Avenue. The officers interacted with the people and gave them detailed information about the Nagpur metro and further development due to the Metro work in the area.
The Reach 4 Project Officer, Rajesh Tabhane, Associate Engineer, Abhishek Sood, Mukesh Mittal and Public Relations Officer of Maha metro, Akhilesh Halve were also present during the visit.
Central Avenue is of the busiest route of Nagpur. The work on Reach 1 corridor on the Wardha Raod is going on a fast pace whereas the work for other three corridor is maintained.
The work going on the Reach 4 is also running is fast pace. There are a large number of commercial establishments in this area. Also, it is a residential area. Places like Bajaria , Itwari, Mominpur, Mayo Hospital are on this route.
That’s why there is always traffic on this road. So, in future residents and commercial business situated at this area will be definitely benefited through metro.
