The competitive pressures on the Manufacturing Industry, in terms of productivity, quality, delivery and safety call for a strategic and holistic approach that the industry needs to adopt to make their operations “World Classâ€. This could be achieved through proven quality practices.
There is a constant effort to achieve zero-defect, zero-waste and zero rejections through initiatives such as smart design and by applying various TPM and TQM techniques.
To achieve these goals there needs to be a constant effort in creating processes that react rapidly to unanticipated problems both internal and external. With effect of which manufacturing today focuses on mass customization and adaptability by applying innovative methods and constantly taking an effort to reduce cost of production to be globally competitive.
Given this background, Confederation of Indian industry (CII) is organizing the Learning Mission with combination of Learning Session and Plant Visit to witness the actual implementation for better understanding at JSW Steel Plant, Kalmeshwar on Saturday, June 22 at 09:30 am.
