It is a dream of every climber to climb the heights peak on earth Mount Everest once in their life and I completed my Everest summit said Everester Pranav Bandbuche.
Pranav is back in the city and was felicitated at Vishnu Ji Ki Rasoi on June 14. The felicitation was done in presence of Guests Nikhil Mundle from Outword Bound, Tejinder Singh Renu a well-known golfer from the city, Sanjay Bhende President of Maitri Parivar, Chef Vishnu Manohar and Amol Khante CAC all-rounder member.
Pranav completed his Everest expedition on May 20 and became the first person from Nagpur to reach the summit as a part of 14-member international team.
“My journey started back from 2007 when I came in contact with this sport and gradually my love for climbing mountain grew. In 2016 I did my first Mount Everest summit but had to return from 8000 m. This made to thrive for my goal of reaching the highest peak and on May 20, I finally achieved what I always dreamt of “, said young mountaineer Pranav while addressing on the occasion.
Recalling the memorable moments Pranav informed me that after facing many challenges when we took the final step, I saw it was incredible and beyond words. When we saw the shadow of Mount Everest which was cast on nearby mountains that were the most beautiful moment of my life.
Speaking about challenges, he informed us that “Climbing is easy but one faces new challenges while returning to the base, we knew that the weather was not with us and we were given proper instructions and time limit to complete our expedition on time.
When we began our summit we had to face two deadly avalanches and after that, we were on our way to climb the Mount Everest”, he added.
One should always learn from their failure it will motivate and guide you in future, I did the same when I failed to complete my Mt. Everest in 2016 this inspired me to complete my goal said Pranav.
Nikhil Mundle said it was my prevailed that Pranav completed the expedition and this is a really happy moment for Nagpur. People must learn from him, with his passion and hard work he finally achieved what he always dreamt of.
Vishnu Manohar said that I am happy that we meet such inspiring people. With little laughter, he said, “I will also climb and make a dish of ice gola”.
Sanjay Bhende said many people often say no to visit Katmandu, Mansarovar, Uttarakhand, etc, but Pranav had a vision and goal and with his hard work and dedication he achieved this. This will surely make people and inspire children to do the same and achieve their dreams.
