Dr Ambedkar College Sports Academy (DACSA) defeated Nagpur Cricket Academy (NCA) by eight wickets to win the Inter-Academy Under-14 Cricket Tournament that was organised by Reshimbagh Cricket Club at DD Nagar Vidyalaya ground, here on Monday.
Batting first NCA scored 90 losing six wickets in 20 overs. Sahil Panke (20), Om Tiwari (14) Sayyam Jain (12 not out) and Parag Mahakalkar (10) were main scorers.
For DACSA, Parth Patil claimed two wickets whereas Aryan Trivedi, Rushikesh Gunjalwar, Akshad Vyavhare and Raj Kakwani were chipped in with one each.
In reply, DACSA achieved the target losing just two wickets in 13.3 overs. Thanks to Kumbhare who scored match winning unbeaten 57. Viraj Agnihotri contributed vital 17. For NCA, Urmik Tembhre and Jain got one wicket each.
Dr Agrawal and Dr Dilip Kshirsagar distributed the prizes. Kumbhare was declared man-of-the-match. Director of the club Raju Kaore and Dr Sanjay Deotale were also present on the occasion.
