A mass Yoga session was organized by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan in association with different Yoga Mandals and Sansthas, on the eve of ‘International Yoga Day Celebration’ on June 21 at Yashwant Stadium.  
Minister of Road Transport, Nitin Gadkari along with Nagpur District Guardian Minister, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Muncipal Commissioner Abhijit Bangar, District Collector Ashwin Mudgal  attended the program at Yashwant stadium to celebrate International Yoga day on June 21.
Nitin Gadkari along with the masses practiced various asanas. Gadkari said “yoga is a symbol of Indian culture, history and heritage and it is practiced with great enthusiasm across the world. This way yoga will reach to every man in the society and will help people to lead for a healthy life”.
