Installation Ceremony of New Office Bearers of Rotary Club Of Nagpur South (2019-20) headed by President Rtn. Vijay Sontakey and Secretary Rtn. Hemant Marathe was recently held at Hotel Ashok, West High Court Road, Laxmi Nagar, near 8 Rasta Chowk on June 28, 2019, at the hands of DG. Rtn. Rajendra Bhamre.

Outgoing President Rtn. Col Mukesh Shahare made an opening welcome speech and honored colleagues who did excellent work in the tenure. Outgoing Secretary Rtn Vivek Garge read the annual report. News Bulletin & Roster were released by Dignitaries. A couple of New members were inducted in the club by DG. Rtn. Rajendra Bhamre. In acceptance speech Rtn. Vijay Sontakey who is becoming president of Rotary Club for the second time in life elaborated plans of his tenure and mentioned the 6 thrust areas that Rotary International has chalked out namely, Environment and Water Conservation, Health and Hygiene, Education.
All the ongoing projects like Solar rural electrification kits to remote paces families, Flagship Thyroid Surgical Workshop and Medical and Surgical Camp at Chikhaldara Melghat, Wednesday school, Eye Surgery camps will be further strengthened he added.
Chief Guest District Governor Rtn. Rajendra Bhamre lauded the work put up by the previous team and wanted the club to take up bigger projects and growth in membership.
First New project of Handing over Solar light for a school in a remote place where there is no electricity yet, was launched on the occasion.
