Deserving young talents of Centre Point School-AB were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a new school council was formed.
The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic year. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school
The Investiture Ceremony was conducted in the assembly ground of the school Under the benign presence of the Principal Radhika who presented the sash and the badge to the school captain Aditya Sarda.
Teachers, Perveen and Anita graced the occasion by presenting the sash and badge to the school vice-captain Aditya Sharan. The other office bearers received their badges at the hands of various teachers.
With a pledge ‘Strive Harder and Soar Higher’and the goal of being a role model for other students, the members of the student council took the oath in the presence of their parents, the teachers, and the staff. The school has four Houses namely –Green, Yellow, Blue and Red.
The appointed House Captains and Vice-Captains and the ‘Prefectorial Body’ took charge of their respective Houses and vowed to work in collaboration with their House members (students) all year round to emerge winners in all the House activities. This will be in tune with the School Captain and Vice-Captain, for their contribution in the school activities, competitions and initiatives.
The school held the Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm followed by the felicitation of the school toppers in the board exams at the hands of Radhika. It was a proud moment for the school as it achieved the mission of 100% pass result in the first division in the CBSE AISS examination.
Raghavi shukla attained the goal of scoring 99% with determination and persistent hard work. The second school topper, Maria Kothawala seemed to execute her plans meticulously and effectively. She made a niche for herself by scoring 98.2.
Radhika addressed the gathering and motivated the new student council with her inspirational speech. She treasured the unflinching support given to the students by their parents and teachers and wished them all the best for their future endeavours. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the School Song followed by the national anthem.
