The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Government Medical College (GMC) Nagpur, Hanuman Nagar is looking at a depressed state. The hospital bed made of iron which are used for patients, are rusted heavily and are in there worst state.
This condition is seen in the ICU of tertiary health care centre, which happens to be one of the highest referrals centers in entire central India.
All such beds came in the knowledge of staff members when the painting work started in ward number 24 and all of the mattresses were removed from the beds. It is also stated by the workers that the condition is same since past few months but was ignored by the management.
A proper maintenance is also lacking by the senior authorities and even after reminding them about the state of the ward, the complaints are totally being ignored.
