Four city Karate players and one coach are selected to represent Indian team in ‘Thailand Open International Karate-do Championship 2019’ to be organised from July 10 to 14 at Huamark Indoor stadium, Sports Authority of Thailand, Ramkhamheng Road, Thailand. Those who have been selected include Harsh Suke in cadets (14-15 years) category.
He is the student of Podar International, Pimri Chanchwad. South Point School student Manas Raut in cadet (14 & 15Years) Category for Kata & Kumite, Centre Point school student Niel Dhume (10 Years) in sub-junior category for Kata & Kumite and Sakshi Fulzele of New apostolic English high school in junior (16 & 17 Years) category for Kata & Kumite  Sensei Sachin Lohakare will be the Indian team coach. Near about 104 players from India are participating in Thailand Open Karate-do Championship 2019. Harsh Suke, Manas Raut, Niel Dhume and Sakshi Fulzele along with coach Sensei Sachin Lohakare and Dr. Zakir Khan will leave Nagpur on Tuesday.
The karatekas attribute the credit of their success to Karate Association of India  Likha Tara, president Hanshi Bharat Sharma, senior vice president Virat Vatcha, vice president  Ambedkar Gupta, general secretary Hanshi Premjit Sen, chairman of referee commission,  Dr. Zakir S. Khan and others.
