Centre Point School, Katol Road felicitated its top achievers in the AISSE and AISSCE Examination 2018-19 conducted by the CBSE in a solemn ceremony held recently in the School Muktangan. The occasion was graced by the Executive Director, Mukta Chatterjee, Vice Principals, Renu Singh and Delnaaz Kapoor, students, teachers and especially invited parents of the achiever.
The school toppers in class 12 science stream included Agnidev Bhattacharyya (93.6%), Ketaki Tank (93.4%) and Amruth Meday (93.2%), the commerce stream top notchers were Parth Desai (96.2%), Archit Dalmia (96%) and Shruti Srivastava (95.6%). The meritorious students from the HUMANITIES STREAM included Anupreeta Datey scoring 97.4% and 100 marks in History and Political Science is the City and Vidarbha Topper also received the Raisoni Award For Excellence and a cash prize of Rs. 5000/-. Lubhna Dongre stood second with 97% and 100 in Psychology. She also received an award from the Raisoni Group of Institutions and prize money of Rs. 2000/-. Aalhad Raut stood third with 96.6%.
The class 10 top achievers ioncluded Rishi Goyal (98.2%), Advait Jagtap and Aditi Alsi (97.4%), Yukti Makan and Raunak Tibdiwal (97.2%). They received the Hitavada trophies for their commendable performance. The students were felicitated by the Executive Director, Mrs. Mukta Chatterjee, in the presence of their parents and some grandparents. On this special occasion the school management awarded scholarships to 9 meritorious students of class 11 for their outstanding scores in the CBSE AISSE Examination 2018-19.
The scholarships are in the form of fee waivers for these deserving students. The scholarship winners include – Arya Daoo, Rishi Atul Goyal, Sahaana Shastry, Yukti Makan, Yugakshi Khodke, Vrunda Nabira, Sesha Bavishi, Madhav Mehadia, Romit Parakh. They received certificates at the hands of Mukta Chatterjee, Executive Director, Centre Point Group of Schools. The programme was conducted by Ziya Buhariwala, Esther Tudu and Mousumi Aich.
