Amravati: In a country like India where agriculture is primary source of livelihood, use of technologies, will be a boost to it. Recently, Dr Anil Bonde, Agriculture Minister, tested a drone spreading pesticides at Maywadi village in Morshi Tehsil.
A Nashik based company has invented a drone which will help sprinkle the pesticide on the field in less time consuming manner and will also reduce the labour work of the farmers . The drone can do the spraying from 20 meters height and over 100 acres of land within 5 hours.
The drone will be soon available for farmers after its complete testing, said Dr Bonde. Providing further information regarding the innovation, Bonde said, the drone is operated on battery with GPS system installed in it.
