The Brigade of The Guards is the elite Regiment of the Indian Army. The soldiers were inducted into the Regiment undergo rigorous training and only the best become the Guardsmen. The training programme for the 121st course culminated with the Passing Out Parade at the Guards Regimental Centre (GRC), Kamptee.
The 121st Course comprised of 230 recruits. In an impressive parade, the recruits took the solemn oath to protect the nation even at the peril of own life.
The parade was reviewed by Major General Yashpal Singh Mor, Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding of a Sub Area. He exhorted the recruits to put in their best and leave no stone unturned in the service of the Nation. He also extended his compliments to the family members of the recruits who had come from various parts of the country. He gave away medals to the outstanding performers of the course. Recruit Govind hailing from Jind district (Haryana) was adjudged the Best Recruit and was awarded gold medal.
