Krishna Taori emerged winner with 6.5 points in the girls chess selection tournament that was conduced by by Nagpur District Chess Association (NDCA) in various age categories at DNC Sports complex, Congress Nagar.
Krishna was followed by Maithili Khuje with six points. The prizes were distributed at the hands of MLC Anil Sole, president of Shikshan Manch Kalpana Pande, Secretary of Abhiruchi Foundation Ganesh Billa, convener of Janta Shikshak Mahasangh Sanjay Deshpande, president Raju Vaidya, NDCA organising secretary Umesh Panbude and chief arbiter Pravin Pantawane were also present on the occasion.The top two players for each category will represent Nagpur district in forthcoming state championship to be held at Aurnagabad from August 27 to 30.
