Over 50 Men’s Rights Activists groups from across the globe will be joining hands to raise voice for the welfare of men. An annual national meet on ‘Men’s Rights – 2019’ will be held from August 15 to 17 at Hotel Tuli International, Sadar.
Karan Oberoi, a prominent Bollywood Singer, Act and Producer; and Vipul Deshpande, who works with episodes like Crime Petrol, Code Red, Savdhan India will be the guests of honour at the event.
The Gender Equality Organisation dedicatedly works on issues affecting men in India, including the rising male suicides, number of gender-biased laws jailing men, no concrete policies for men’s health, low life expectancy of men, complete and blatant ignore from Child Ministry towards boys, unaddressed and ignored crimes of male rape/male victims of domestic violence and marital cruelty, high school drop-out rate of boys, sexual abuse of boys by women, no representation of men in any law or policy-making process of India, gender-biased budgeting of India and a plethora of issues related to welfare of men and boys, domestic violence and others.
In the National meet this year the organisation will discuss and focus on the strategy to get the law-makers respect Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, especially when it comes to Equality before Law, Life, Liberty and Dignity of male gender in India.
