On the eve of 73rd Independence Day, South Central Area Cultural Center, Nagpur and Delhi Public School, Kamthi Road, Nagpur, jointly organized a colorful cultural program on August 14, 2019, at the SCZCC premises at 6:00 pm.
The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony at the hands of Deputy Commissioner of Police, IPS Chinmay Pandit, renowned Bharat Natyam artist and choreographer Madkholkar, neurologist Dr. Shailesh Kelkar and Gynaecologist Dr. Aarti Kelkar and SCZCC Director Deepak Khirwadkar. Ritu Sharma, Principal of Delhi Public School, Kamthi Road, Nagpur was present on the occasion.
The event began with the Tabla performance, the entire programme was based on the theme, ‘Rail chali- Azadi ki rail chali’. Various presentation of melodious singing, playing and dance in the colour of patriotism left everyone mesmerized. Through the presentation, students presented glimpses of various states of the country.
Around 200 students of Delhi Public School, Kamthi Road gave 10 performances at this patriotic event. short plays and band performances were also included in the same.  
A large number of citizens including parents of the students were present in the program. All the presentations presented in the program were greatly appreciated by the audience.
