Major relief to the students of class 10th, 12th as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to increase the number of optional questions. Such a step by the board is assumed to prove beneficial to the students in scoring good marks.
According to the earlier pattern, only long answer questions had more than one question to choose from for a student, now 11 more questions will be given to the students which will make them attempt the question papers fully.
Another big change is the increase in the number of objectives (one-mark) questions which range from16.25% to 95% in some subjects, up from 10-12%.
The changes have been incorporated in other subjects too. They include English for Class X and Hindi, History, and Biology for Class XII where descriptive questions have been increased.
