Maha Metro has developed an interest of citizens not only by introducing Metro Railway to the city but also introducing them to a concept called viewing the gallery. One such concept of viewing gallery is located near Ambazari Garden, which is the most awaited concept for the citizens. The construction of the metro station and the viewing gallery together has led to a degradation of soil. This construction has made the location decrease its greenery and also has led to deposits of soil touch the road site.
While moving towards the entrance of Ambazari Garden from Ambazari T-point it can be noticed that on the left-hand side of the road huge deposits of mud and garbage is collected on a large scale. The plain site which was earlier a part of the road has now been converted into a dumping yard. Moving more towards the site a pungent smell passes by the nose and it also can be seen that the route is very much unhealthy for anyone passing by.
The question also comes down to whether it’s the duty of Maha Metro or Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) to take care of this upcoming situation.
During the heavy showers as we have hit the monsoon season, these soil deposits are loosened up and the garbage which is mixed along in the collected mud hill spread on the road. The plastic bags and mud from the deposits make it tough to keep the vehicle on the track.
