Installation ceremony of Executive body of Diabetic Association of India, Nagpur Chapter on August 25

The Executive body of Diabetic Association of India, Nagpur Chapter, for the term 2019-2020 headed by Dr. Shantanu Sengupta as President and Dr. Nitin Wadaskar as Hon. Secretary will be installed in a glittering function on August, 25, 2019 from 9.00 am onwards at hotel Centre Point Ramdaspeth Nagpur.

Dr. J. C. Mohan Consultant Cardiologist, New Delhi has kindly consented to be Chief Guest for the programme while Vijay Phanshikar, Senior Editor, of local English daily ‘The Hitavada” will be Guest of Honour. The team for the term 2019-2020 is as under President-Dr. Shantanu Sengupta, Secretary- Dr Nitin Wadaskar; Treasurer- Dr Abhishek Pande President Elect- Dr S.N Deshmukh, Imm.

Secretary, Dr Ravi Waghmare & Dr Rajesh Deshmukh Executive Committee Members, Dr Rajashree Khot, Dr Jayant Kelwade, Dr Himanshu Patil, Dr Ravindra Sarnaik, Dr Jay Deshmukh, Dr Sanket Pendsey, Dr Sunita Kumbhalkar Scientific Committee Chairman, Dr Mahesh Fulwani Co-Chairman, Dr Parimal Tayade, Dr Sanjay Jain.

The programme will start with Clinical Case presentation by Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, Dr. Jayant Kelwade, and Dr. Manas Bindra.  The meeting will be presided by Dr. Prabhakar Deshpande.

Later the Installation Ceremony will take place at 10 to 11-30 a.m. Dr. Shanatanu Sengupta will deliver Presidential Oration on “Digital Mapping in Diabetic Heart” which will be presided by Dr. Uday Mahorkar and Dr. Sunil Gupta. Dr. J.C. Mohan will deliver Guest Lecture and deliberate on “Anti Diabetic Drugs and Heart Failure” Dr. Shailesh Pitale and Dr. P.P.Joshi will preside the lecture. Post lunch, there will be Public Forum on the Theme “Move Stand and Exercise” from 2-30 p.m. Dr. Aziz Khan will moderate the session. The Team of experts, who are to speak during the Public Education are Dr. J. C. Mohan, Dr. Shantanu Sengupta, Dr. Shanakar Khobragade, Dr. Sunil Ambulkar, Mr. Prashant Vaidya nad Dr. Vikas Vaidya.

Outgoing President, Dr. S. D. Suryawanshi and Outgoing Secretary Dr. Prashant Govardhan has appealed members to grace the occasion and update themselves and public to attend the Public Forum in large numbers on August 25, 2019.
