The tricolor unfurled high and free in the premises of Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, on the occasion of India’s 73 rd Independence Day on August 15. The emotions ran high as the children sang the National Anthem and the patriotic song ‘Kabhi na jhukne paaye’ with zeal and enthusiasm.
The ceremony started with the Flag Hoisting by the Principal, Radhika Mehra. The event was also graced by the Vice- Principals, Perveen Cassad, Anita Sharma, staff and parents.
The primary kids presented a motivational poem highlighting the ethos of independence. This was followed by a melodious presentation by the children of CPSI.
