Open karate competition on August 29

To commemorate the National Sports Day, Dr. Ambedkar College Sports Academy in association with MITSUYA-KAI Hayashi-ha Shito Ryu Karate-Do India is organizing Nagpur Open Karate competition on August 29 at the auditorium hall of the college.

The competition will be organized in various age categories including U-16 kata, Above 18 years kumite, Under-21, Under-18, Under-19, and Under-20  individual kumite and individual kata. Under-16 and under-17 individual kumite, Under-14 and under-15 individual kumite, sub-junior kate and kmite.

The karatekas have been asked to register their names on August 28 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. at the venue. Draws will be displayed at 4 p.m. onwards. The meet will be inaugurated at 10 a.m. on August 29 followed by karate events. The prize distribution function will be held at 5 p.m. on the same day informs the secretary of the academy, Dr AP Joshi.
