Shubham Bokde and Sagar Barole entered semi-finals of the ongoing Aditya Diddee Memorial Open Snooker Tournament on Monday. The 11th seed Bokde stunned third seed Abhinav Nainani even after the latter went on to hit a single break of 45 points in the first frame.
Bokde took the first frame by 74-57 whereas the second frame was taken by Nainani 35-60 leveling the scores 1-1. Bokde, while, in the third frame Bokde hardly gave any chance to Nainani to score a point and finished the frame with 114-5.However, Bokde went ahead to take the fourth-frame as well as taking the match 3-1.
Whereas in the second match between Barole and Awachat, Barole defeated Mahesh Awachat by  3-2. It was a close tie as both players fought till the end of the fifth frame. It was the last quarter-final match.
Barolo bounced back twice to level the scores after losing first and third frames and won the decider. The scores read 27-67, 74-51, 33- 81, 91-9 and 68-59. In the semis, Bokde will play Tushar Mankar on Tuesday while Barole will lock horns with Vishal Sole on Wednesday.
