Vidarbha Literary Festival (VLF) has organised an interaction with leading author Ashok Dhar about his recent book ‘Kashmir As I See It’, on September 8 at 10.30 am at Mimosa Hall, Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines. The book is a personal account of Kashmir with a close look at three major aspects of the region — historicity, morality, and leadership.
The author is a Kashmiri, and the participants can look forward to understanding Kashmir from the perspective of a Kashmiri. Registration for the event is free but it is mandatory for all participants to register themselves at www.vidlitfest.com/register, states a press release. VidLitFest is emerging as a major literary force in the region.
It is a non-profit organization formed by prominent intellectuals of the city, with the aim of organising various literary events in the city that will culminate into the annual Literary Festival planned on February 8 and February 9, 2020. It will be the biggest literature event in Nagpur with the participation of authors and publishers from all over the country and participants from all over the region.
It will celebrate books and authors, offer space for debates and discussions, and aim at growing the tribe of readers. It will be an excellent opportunity for authors and publishers to launch their books, and conduct book signing events states the press release.
