Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to the city on September 7 is said to be the significant one for the entire nation as he will trigger nationwide launch of pension scheme for small traders and welfare scheme for unorganised sector labourers.
As per the schedule, PM Modi will arrive at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport around 4:30 pm, and will head straight to Subhash Nagar, on a journey of Nagpur Metro Rail’s Aqua Line’ till Sitabuldi Inter-change Station, along with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Later, after getting down from train at Sitabuldi, he will head towards Mankapur Stadium where he will inaugurate Out-Patient Department of AIIMS-Nagpur, and Sainik School at Chandrapur and electric bus “Tejasvini†of Nagpur Municipal Corporation through video-link.

4:20 pm – Arrival from Aurangabad to Nagpur airport
4:50 pm – Arrival at Subhash Nagar metro station from Nagpur airport
4:55 pm – Inauguration of MahaMetro exhibition at Subhash Nagar metro station at Hingna Road
5 pm – Modi to flag off Sitabuldi-Lokmanya Nagar 10.5 km stretch of Nagpur Metro at Subhash Nagar metro station
5:02 pm – To take 5 km metro ride at 25 km/hour from Subhash Nagar to Sitabuldi Interchange Station along with CM Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari
5:20 pm – Arrival at Sitabuldi Interchange Station
5:30 pm – Depart for Mankapur Indoor Stadium
5:50 pm – Arrival at Mankapur Indoor Stadium
6 pm – To address gathering at Mankapur Indoor Stadium; launch of various projects via remote
Once the event is over, the PM would proceed towards Nagpur airport
