In a terrifying incident, while stepping down from Trivandrum Express, a seven-year-old boy was trapped between the train and the platform. And after hearing parents cry, some porters rushed to the spot and pulled out the boy before the train started and rescued him safely. The incident happened at 7.30 am at Nagpur railway station.
As per the information, Gorakhpur-Trivandrum Express arrived at platform No 2 of Nagpur Railway station while stepping down from the B 2coach, the boy aged seven fell in the gap between the platform and train compartment. All the passengers and the boy’s parents started shouting for help. Then the two porters Abdul Majid and Prem Singh Meena rushed to the spot for help.
They also informed the loco pilot to not to start the train till the boys was rescued. A porter went other side and pulled out the boy safely. The boy sustained some minor injuries. The parents expressed their gratitude for the porters.
