Transport Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) finally launched the ‘Chalo App’ for orange city commuters with an aim to increase the usage of public transport, reduce traffic congestion and carbon emission which is also the key goal to convert Nagpur into smart City.
Nagpurians can get complete information on ‘Aapli Bus’ on their fingertips through the use of ‘Chalo App’.
Daily about 1.60 lakh commuters use services of Aapli Bus and the App was much-needed as it empowers the users in many ways.
With the use of Chalo App commuters can plan their trips on city buses more effectively and can keep a live track of the movement of Aapli buses. The app also provides the function to check the time of arrival of buses.
Other advantages of the App are one can plan one’s trip door-to-door using a multi-modal trip planner.
The Chalo App can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and it developed by Zophop Technologies Private Limited, a technology-driven transport solutions company that aims to make travel better for everyone.
The Chalo App for Nagpur was launched by Jitendra (Bunty) Kukde, Chairperson, Transport Committee, and Municipal Commissioner Abhijit Bangar. Rajesh Mohite, Deputy Municipal Commissioner and Sumit Bawa, Vice President were also present during the App launch.
