The Kick Boxing champions of Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass have once again tasted success. The 34th Kick Boxing Association State Level Championship 2019 proved to be a great event that witnessed grand participation of almost 936 participants across the country. 6 talented players of CPS, AB had represented the school and have engraved their names in golden letters on the stone of victory.
The event was held from 16 th to 18 th Aug’19 and was organised by the WAKO Kick Boxing Association of Maharashtra at Badisajan Mangal Karylaya, Ahmadnagar. In the category of, 10 to 12 years Boys, Arshaan K. Mehta, bagged a Gold medal in the Hard Style Weapon Event. He also bagged a Silver medal in the Soft style Musical Event.
In the category of the 13 to 15 years Boys, Meet Sahajramani, earned a Gold medal in the Hard Style Weapon Event and a Silver medal in Soft-style Musical Event.
Tejas T. Mandlekar was rewarded with a Bronze medal in the 57 kg Fight Event. The dedication and hard work of the participants could be seen in their performances. Each of them were excellent in their respective events and were highly appreciated by the jury and judges.
The winners extended their warm regards and gratitude to the parents, chief coach Mr. Mazhar Khan and the in house coaches Mehboob Ansari and Pritam Pinjarkar and the school. Principal, Radhika Mehra, Vice – Principals,  Perveen Cassad and Anita Sharma, and the staff congratulated the children on their success and wished them luck for the future commitments.
