South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) has recently conducted an awareness programme regarding the cleanliness of the city, on September 26, at Manavta high School, handtamni Nagar. ‘Khadi Ghamat the awareness program had the school students and even the citizens. They were introduced to folk songs during this event and through this medium of songs and music performances, they were taught the importance of cleanliness.
During this event, J.V Gajbhe, Principal of Manavta High School and S.J Jivtode, Director of Subhashy Navyuk Vidyalaya were present. Elaborated information on cleanliness of the city and how disastrous is plastic for the world and nature was given by the performance at this event.
A Cleanliness Pakhawada is being celebrated by SCZCC from September 16 to 30 under which this programme was conducted. The aim of this programme is to make people aware of the importance of cleanliness.
