The much-awaited T20 match is scheduled to be held in Nagpur city on Sunday, November 10. The citizens are busy booking their tickets and so are the traffic cops are planning the arrangements to keep smooth flow of traffic, especially on Wardha road and Khapri Naka.
Chaitanya Pandit deputy commissioner of traffic said “400 traffic cops have been instructed to manage the traffic on this route. To support these cops they will be assisted few traffic volunteers.†He further added as the match is scheduled and even the widening and construction of the bridge is in the process and this will aggravate the problem for everyone to crossing this route. Luckily the day of the match is Sunday which will cut down a huge number of vehicles and will have no regular rush.â€
Towing vans are also being deployed for traffic congestions and the one-way highway towards the airport will be open from both the ways on the night of the match. The traffic cops will monitor the situation from 10 pm to keep the smooth flow of traffic after the match.
