Ahead of Ayodhya verdict, Maharashtra cyber Intelligence unit has keep a close watch on the social networking platforms  to scan posts, pictures and videos related to the highly sensitive issue in order to maintain harmony and peace across the state. As per information, the cyber cell of the Nagpur city also would keep a vigil on social media.
The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has also formed teams to supervise social media to guard against the inflammatory comments and posts made to incite communal hatred ahead of the verdict. Baising Rajput, SP (Maharashtra cyber unit) and spl IG Brijesh Singh will utilise different softwares and hardwares to monitor the situation.
Nagpur city Police commissioner BK Upadhyay has stated that they have asked the information-collecting agencies to convey them with the updates. He also asked the citizens to refrain from spreading provocative messages through social media otherwise they have to face strict action. He pointed out that the three major concerns of the state cyber teams would be to scan and keep an eye on transmit messages in the public domain to ensure the law and order.
