Sameer Pande Memorial VETERANS T 20 CUP for 38+ age was organised at Taiwade Pharmacy College, Gurunanak Pharmacy Ground, and WCL Ground Nagpur from 6th to 13th Nov 2019. Eight teams participated in the tournament with big names of yesteryear VCA Ranji / University players.
In the Final Match between SHAAZ XI and City Shoppy, City Shoppy won the toss and elected to bat first, decent bowling by Shaaz XI players restricted City Shoppy to 90 / 9 in 20 overs. Vivek Naidu top scored with 27 runs ably supported by Nitin Gawande 14 runs. For Shaaz XI, Manoj Ghokte took 3 wkts while Shailesh Harbade and Prashant Tagde took 2 each. SHAAZ XI chased the score on a difficult wicket in 18 overs loosing 7 wkts, Prabhodhan Janbandhu top scored 34 runs supported by Shailesh Harbade 26 runs. For City Shoppy Yogesh Chandurkar and Sandeep Singh took 2 wkts each.
Shaaz XI reached final beating Rotary Warriors by 160 runs, City Shoppy by 14 runs, MSEB by 60 runs and in Semi-Final beating PWD Team by 60 runs. In tournament Shaaz XI player Shailesh Harbade top scored by 229 runs, Praful Meher made 209 runs and good bowling effort by Manoj Ghokte taking 12 wkts, Jitendra Giri, S. F. Rezvi and Shailesh Harbade took 6 wkts each in the tournament.
City Shoppy reached the final beating MSEB by 6 wkts, Rotary Warriors by 7 wkts and in Semi-Final beating Rotary Fireball by 66 runs. For City Shoppy In tournament Amit Deshpande scored 154 runs while Nitin Gawande made 105 runs, In Bowling department Yogesh Chandurkar was lead bowler of tournament picking 13 wkts supported by Anirudh Sarwate 8 wkts.
Man of the Final went to Prabhodhan Janbandhu while Shailesh Harbade was adjudged as Man of the series. Yogesh Chandurkar was adjudged Best Bowler and Ramarao C. was adjudged Best Wicket keeper with 10 dismissals behind the stump.

The Guest present in the Prize Distribution were Family of Late Sameer Pande, Ex-Ranji Captain Hemant Wasu, Sandeep Deshpande – President Rotary Club Downtown.
