Aishwarya Mandhalkar made the city proud as she bagged the ‘Teen World Super Model’ title in Indo-Thai Cultural Exchange Friendship International Beauty Pageant held in Bangkok recently.
The winners of the pageant were declared based on their performance in a grooming session, self-confidence, speaking skills, national costume round, beachwear sequence, evening gown, and question-answer. The 16- year-old Aishwarya from Nagpur out performed all the contestants to win the title.
In all, 16 contestants from India and Thailand participated in the event. The event was conducted by Fashion ABCD and Spotlight International Films in Association with Thailand Tourism.
Born and brought up in Nagpur, Aishwarya belongs to a Maharashtrian-Brahmin family. She is a student of Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar. Currently, she is pursuing Std 11th in Humanities.
She is good at studies and extra-curricular activities. She is a State-level tennis player. Earlier, Aishwarya has won the titles ‘Lil Miss India-2016’ and ‘Teen Miss Universe-2019’.
Since an early age, she has interest in acting. She has also acted in the movie ‘Chamatkari Ganesha’ and a serial ‘Ramai’ in which she played the role of young Ramai (Dr BRAmbedkar’s wife).
Aishwarya is an enthusiast Model United Nations (MUN) participant and has a keen interest in politics and law. She has participated in 11 MUN events and won six of them.
