On Wednesday, the Mayor Sandeep Joshi visited the Dayanand Park in Jaripatka area and learned about the problems faced by the citizens. Later Joshi instructed the officers to look after the issues faced by the residents and to be resolved soon.
The ruling party leaders Sandeep Jadhav, health committee chairman Virendra Kukreja, Zone President Gargi Chopra, corporator Mahendra Dhanvijay, corporator Pramila Mantharani, Sushma Chowdhury, Zone Assistant Commissioner Harish Raut, senior social worker Dr Ghanjyamdas, Chairperson Dr. Rajesh Shyamdas, Kush Rajaswamdas, Vinki Rugwani, Baliram Sahajramani, Jagdish Vanjani, Dinesh Gaur were present on the occasion.
Residents near Dayanand Park complained the breeding of mosquitoes on a large scale and the unhygienic surroundings in their area. The residents even complained about the stray dogs in their area which is a big problem faced by the residents at night time. On this, Mayor Sandeep Joshi said that a special campaign is being implemented for the sterilization of stray dogs.
Joshi during his speech told the residents, modern facilities will be provided in this park. Virendra Kukreja said that 50 lakh i-blocks, state-of-the-art entrances, open halls, sheds for yoga camps, sky walks, separate green gym for men and women, walking tracks, walking tracks for acupressure will be facilitated in coming months.
