It has been reported that all four planes of the Nagpur Flying Club (NFC) are unfit for flying in the present condition. The Divisional Revenue Commissioner (DRC) has recently informed this matter to the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court in the affidavit.
As per the information, the three of the four planes have Cessna-152 engines. And these engines have been sent to Lycoming Company USA for the repairing and will be returned by February 28, 2020.The maintenance manager has been given five months to make the four planes airworthy.
The controversy over the appointment of Capt Shivkumar Jaiswal as Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) has still not subsided.However; the court has ordered that his appointment was necessary till the planes are airworthy. And two experts would soon be appointed so that various repairing work could be completed by February 28, 2020.This club would be transferred to another place and a five-acre plot would be given at Mihan.
