South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur in joint association with Mahalaxmi Production, Nagpur, organized “Srimant Yogi”, a unique presentation of music dance drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur premises on Saturday.
The program began with the lightening of the lamps by the hands of Suresh Kulkarni, Corporator of West Nagpur Sanjay Bangale, Former BJP worker Ravi Bhusari, Suresh Deshpande, Director of South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur, Deepak Khirwadkar and Shashank Dande, Program Officer of South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur was present on the occasion.
This was the 25th presentation of the music dance drama “Srimant Yogi” presenting the glorious life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Which was greatly appreciated by the audience, and the audience was present in large numbers in this play.
The life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was presented on the stage in such a beautiful way that the audience were mesmerized by the performance of the artists.
More than 100 artists participated in this drama, which is famous in Nagpur and all over Vidarbha. The play was directed by Subodh Surjikar and produced by Avinash Ghangarekar. The songs were given by Suresh Deshpande which was from late Shri Bhaiyaji Samak.
