Shankuntala Sports Foundation Wanadongri in association with Nagpur District Athletics Association is organising Prof. LR Malviya Memorial District Cross Country at Prince Lawn, Mahajanwadi, Wanadongri on December 28.
The event will be organised in six categories including Under-12 boys and girls, Under-17 boys and girls, open men and women. The entry fee will be Rs 500 per player. The winner will get Rs 1,000 and trophy whereas the runners-up will be awarded Rs 700.
Other cash prizes are Rs 500 (third), Rs 300 (fourth) and Rs 200 (fifth). The events include Under-12 boys and girls (1 km), Under-17 boys and girls (2.km), open men and women (6 km). The last date of entry is December 27 by 4 p.m. and the entry forms will be accepted at Shambho Nageshwar Dairy, Wanadongri bus stop, informs organising secretary Ramchandra Wani.
