Delhi Public School, (DPS) Mihan celebrated its second annual concert with gaiety and fervour. A number of celebrations, replete with music, dazzling dance and hues of colours amidst great zest and vibrancy kept the audience awestruck.
Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion were mayor Sandeep Joshi, deputy commissioner of police Chinmay Pandit, promoter of DPS Kamptee Road and Mihan Naveen Kedia and pro-vice chairman of DPS Nagpur Ajay Mansukhani.
The acclaimed guests were felicitated with the saplings emphasizing the ‘Go Green’ ideology of DPS.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony followed by the well-come address and the presentation of the annual report by the principal, Mrs. Gurpreet Bhambra. She apprised the audience for the various achievements of the school.
The annual concert was packed with mellifluous music renditions, mind blowing acts, amazing dances like- Fire Dance, Air Dance, Alien Dance and enthralling live presentations by the school choir.
The students also sang heart soothing, Ganesh Vandana based on classical raga. The eminent guests appreciated the efforts undertaken by the school in creating awareness among the students and society as a whole about the need to save nature.
