A move to attract attention of the government towards grievances of the teachers in non-aided schools, teachers attached to Maharashtra Rajya (Kayam)Vina Anudanit Shala Kriti Samiti will conduct a silent march on December 18 to the Council Hall.
During a press meet at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan on Monday, Tatyasaheb Mhaskar, President of the samiti, said that teachers in non-aided schools had been waiting for justice for the last two decades. The Government in 2000 started non aided schools but the process of grants began in 2012.The teachers made repeated representations to the Government authorities concerned and resorted to agitations a number of times but the teachers are still suffering from injustice.
In view of the situation, the samiti has organised silence march on December 18 to remind them about taking immediate action in the matter.
