Gokul Sporting Club will be conducting Ganesh Siriah memorial hockey meet for men and women from December 22 at Vidarbha Hockey Association ground.
The league-cum-knock-out tournament will be held for men teams from ‘A’ as well as ‘B’ Divisions and for women.
The tournament has the approval of TN Sidhra, Administrator, Vidarbha Hockey Association. Teams will be divided into four groups and winners from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
Interested teams can contact Kanhaiya Fulsunge, Bhaskar Naidu, Dr Yagya Thakur or Satish Fulsunge. Attractive trophies will be given to the winners and runners-up teams.
Apart from this, individual prizes like a best goalkeeper, best defender, best midfielder and best forward will be rewarded with glittering mementos, informs a press release issued by Vivek Siriah, Organising Secretary of the tournament.
