Recently Gumgaon Mine and Ukwa Mine of MOIL bagged winner’s trophy at National Safety Awards held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi for longest accident free period category for the year 2016.
As per information, Beldongiri Mine stood runners-up in lowest injury frequency rate category for the year 2015.The award was presented by vice-president Venkaiah Naidu.The winner’s award was received by Vikarant Khedikar and Gajanan Titre for Gumgaon Mine.Sudhir Pathak and Kishore Das received the winner’s trophy for Ukwa Mine whereas the runner up trophy award was received by RU Singh and Shri AW Sheikh, Jagdish Bhagvat Nishad and Dharmaraj Patil for Beldongri Mine.
