A rainbow of colours unfurled on the stage as Narayana Vidyalayam Pre-Primary and Primary School celebrated its 14th Annual Day Function on 19th December 2019.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Maj. Gen. Achyut S. Deo (Retd.) A galaxy of dignitaries – Hon. Mr. Sandip Joshi, Mayor, Nagpur City, Hon. Mr Nilesh Bharne Additional Commissioner of Police, Nagpur, Sect. Mr. Sachin Agnihotri and Mrs. Pooja Agnihotri graced the occasion as the Guests of Honour.
Esteemed Director of Narayana Educational Society (A&A), Col. U.K. Chembath, Mr Roshan Dhore, Director (Finance) Narayana Educational Society and the Principal Mrs Mala Chembath with other dignitaries graced the celebration with their benign presence.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, The Principal and the other dignitaries. The school Principal Mrs Mala Chembath welcomed the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour by presenting saplings.
The 14th Annual Day of the Pre-Primary and Primary included a series of thematic performances ranging from devotional to family values, patriotism, unity in diversity, parental love, social issues and many more. Commencing on a devotional note by Ganesh Vandana, the celebration embraced various facets of society and culture.
Annual report of the session (2018-19) was also released and read by Hon. Principal Mrs Mala Chembath. Achievement Report (2018-19) was read by the School Head Boy Tanmay Gadwe, Head Girl Anushree Shukla, Vice-Head Boy Atharva Thor and the Vice-Head Girl Juilee Lambe. The most memorable moments were marked by the precious words of advice and appreciation by the Chief Guest Maj. Gen. Achyut S. Deo (Retd.) and the Guest of Honour – Hon. Mr Sandip Joshi, Mayor, Nagpur City, during their address to the parents. They congratulated and appreciated the efforts of students and teachers for the wonderful performances. Overall, the celebration concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success. The celebration culminated with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs Pooja Mahawadiwar (Vice-Principal) which was followed by the National Song.
